Music I listen to

Interesting facts about me

I like Madison Triangles, because why knapp knotches if you don't have to?

I enjoy tropical horticulture, primitive weaponry, anthropology, hunting and much much more. I guess you could say I'm a "renaissance man". Or something.

I hope this works. Huey, could you give me a materials list in order to make one of those drills from things lying around the house? Thank you in advance.

The parts are so simle it's amazing.

    1: dowel rod (<1/2")(>1/4")
2: cross bar (pump bar) this is a stick or board, wide enough to put a hole the diameter of the dowel rod through.
    3: String/cord
4: fly weight. This can be as simple as a couple of rocks tied onto the shaft. In my large drill I used a bun foot for cabinetrty.
5: a bit of some sort (stone metal etc, or even wood for starting fires)

You can get all the parts for about $25 at the hardware store, or free fro mthe woods.

Look at the pics on my thread to see how to put it together; I have a brief description of theory of operation there.

Yes indeed they are! Going west must have sucked, everytime you forded a river it seems like an axle broke, a yoke broke, an oxen drowned and Maggie got carried away by the current.
